Job Description

As a result of business growth across the USA, Turner & Townsend are inviting experienced Cost Engineer professionals at all levels to consider relocating to the US, joining our teams to work on major projects in our USA Infrastructure practice across the United States!

In this role you will develop project cost control structures to track and control actual costs. You will establish and set the project control budget, whereby you are responsible for tracking and controlling project accruals and commitments against set budget constraints.

In addition, you are responsible for providing accurate and timely cost performance reporting. You will track the project contingency and report its position against the remaining risk on the project.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years Cost Engineering experience, ideally in a consultancy environment

  • Strong understanding in cost engineering principles

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions

  • Good knowledge and experience gained within Infrastructure/Heavy Civil industries

  • Membership of a recognized professional body desirable

  • Major capital project experience would be an advantage
