    Position Summary:

    Carle Environmental Services Shift Coordinators are to serve as Leaders within the Environmental Services Department at Carle Foundation Hospital. The Coordinator role is a critical position for the Environmental Services Department. They will be responsible for delegating tasks to staff under managerial guidance.

    Essential Functions:

  • Running the Epic bed tracking system

  • Providing New Hire training and follow-up training

  • Gather monthly Quality Assurance data via GloCheck testing and Quality inspections

  • Validating 2nd and 3rd pulls

  • Daily Patient rounding

  • Cover critical staff shortages

  • Participate in interviewing

  • Inventory housekeeping supplies for order

  • Lead team huddles as directed

  • Service Recovery
