JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State is currently implementing Salesforce as its enterprise CRM, and DDAR is participating in phase one of the project - with mid-2025 as an estimated implementation date of Affinaquest ARM. Reporting to the Applications Development Manager and working closely with all users of the Advancement Customer Relationship Management system, as well as other partners, this IT Trainer will: Design, create, and implement the training program for the new ARM environment, providing instructor-led virtual and in-person training offerings. Develop training materials for the new ARM environment. Articulate the division's related needs while reflecting its values - including diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging - through excellent informal and formal communications. Facilitate informal and self-directed learning, encouraging the use of networks/communities for sharing knowledge and skills. Develop and maintain on-line, self-help resources that enable flexible teaching and learning options and are available when and where needed. Provide individual learner support, helping individuals apply learned skills to their day-to-day work, troubleshoot and resolve related issues. Collaborate with clients to assess performance improvement needs, identify desired learner outcomes, and incorporate feedback in the review and evaluation of the information technology training program and suggested curricula based on employee roles. Provide feedback for input into departmental strategic decisions and planning. Use research based instructional methods to engage trainees; integrate emerging trends into training practices.

This position typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will also have:

Experience in business process analysis for enterprise systems and a passion for driving positive change. A dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience working with technology implementations in Higher Education or a similar complex environment. Experience working with Advancement databases preferred. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills. A proven ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to professional development, learning, and being mentored.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $61,800.00 - $89,600.00
