JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Human Resources seeks a detail-oriented individual to support essential HR functions within the University Libraries & Scholarly Communications and Schreyer Honors College. As a vital member of the HR Team, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for a variety of HR duties including, but not limited to, the following: Assist in HR functions such as staffing, training, and performance evaluations, including monitoring compliance training. Track and assist in employee departures, retirement inquiries, exit surveys, and separation processes Respond to and resolve employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, policies, and staffing Accurate and timely processing of HR transactions in Workday Conduct audits and monitor progress for data accuracy Generate, analyze HR data reports, and distribute compliance reminders Support and update HR procedures, policies, and programs Liaise with various HR departments, such as Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Data & Onboarding Assist and collaborate with the HR Strategic Partner and HR Consultant

Education and Experience: This position minimally requiresa high school diploma/GED or vocational training/degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Information: This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $38,300.00 - $55,500.00
