The Director of Creative Services will act as a visual storyteller and creative strategist supporting the Global Partnership Marketing team with all creative design servicing needs. This role serves as hands-on creative to support the domestic and international sales teams along with the creative execution teams. The primary role of the position is to design partner pitch materials and partner campaigns that are consistent with theatrical film positioning, messaging and creative look and feel.

Reports into the VP, Creative, Global Partnership Marketing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Custom presentation design including concepts for third-party brand partnerships that are on-brand, breakthrough, and event-worthy across all marketing touch points. 

  • Generate bespoke presentations to use in sales, pitch and partner kick-off meetings, including film strategy, brand research, co-branded campaign concepts, TV storyboards, creative product/signage mock-ups, audio/visual concepts, experiential ideas, cross-promotions, tag lines, etc. 

  • Oversee special projects (decks, A/V, materials, logistics, etc.) for partner events, brand summits, conferences, trade shows, etc. 

  • Lead external agencies in briefing and development of custom decks, concepts or creative

  • Edit and distribute leave-behind materials from sales meetings and trade shows for expeditious follow-up

  • Collaborate with sales and creative execution teams on any/all needs for promotional program information and creative assets for filmmaker presentations and internal presentation needs

  • Develop partnership asset guides across titles which includes character development, layout with vendors and animation studios

Creative Strategy: 

  • Identify thematic areas of alignment between brands and films and implement them creatively and via copy in presentations

  • Act as a creative resource for the Promotions team to tap into (e.g. brainstorms, creative kick-offs, client calls and meetings, trade shows, etc.)

  • Participate in key partner pitches and meetings to present creative ideas (when applicable)

  • Monitor and report on the latest emerging brands, industry trends across advertising and entertainment, technology-driven activations and generally buzz-worthy campaigns to inspire ongoing creative concepting and partner ideas

Asset Management: 

  • Liaise with the theatrical Brand Marketing Team to receive and distribute all approved marketing and pitch materials to team

  • Oversee/review dailies and/or unit photography to track product placement for key titles in production, supporting the Sales teams’ needs

     

  • 7+ years in a marketing role

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Creative Design Work experience

  • Creative thinker with superior design and copywriting skills with expertise in current trends in design, art and pop-culture

  • A disruptive and creative storyteller with superior communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized Proactive in efforts to support team (e.g. ideate potential new targets/custom campaigns for films, take action in reaching out and gathering materials for presentations, anticipating teams’ needs, etc.) 

  • Confident and trustworthy handling sensitive, highly confidential materials 

  • Able to carry significant bandwidth in managing multiple projects at various stages, setting priorities, following through and meeting deadlines 

  • Passion, enthusiasm and high energy for the creative work and entertainment industry

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and work within a team

Salary range: $115,000-145,000(bonus eligible)
