Your Role

As a Commercial Shipper you will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will work Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and or Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.20 per hour with a full benefits package.

Your Responsibilities

• Verify and receive materials into inventory

• Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted

• Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage

• “Dangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse

• Use Material Handling Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution

• Other duties asassigned

Your Skills and Experiences

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environment

• 1 year forklift experience

• Can lift up to 50 pounds

• Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate controlled environment

• Must be a US Citizen
