Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing specialist, Brand & Content Specialist and Content Development Specialist. This role reports to the Director of Marketing. They are goal oriented, and deadline driven; consistently keeping weekly and monthly timelines on schedule. They exercise attention to detail and follow the proper processes and policies. They implement processes that efficiently streamlines all marketing and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

Overall duties include, but are not limited to:

• Work directly with the Marketing Director on all projects, supporting the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing & Content Specialist as needed

• Brand/Promotional Marketing:

• Meet with key decision makers to plan out monthly promotions

• Assist with researching and writing content for emails and in-store materials for promotions

• Assist with ensuring materials arrive to stores on time, package tracking, etc.

• Pull reporting and update corresponding recap documents

• Social Media:

• Learn SEMrush and FB Creator Studio

• Work with the Marketing team on curating the social media calendar each month

• Create the concepts and ideas for social content and produce content for Facebook and Instagram which includes but not limited to visiting the stores for video content

• Partner with the Marketing & Content Specialist on creating and posting social media content

• Internal Communications:

• Support internal communications with collecting content and developing our monthly newsletter

• Creating weekly digital communications with key company messages, customized per location as needed

• Opportunity to evolved internal communications with more interactive ideas (videos, polls, Q&A)

• Local & Event Marketing:

• Review all opportunities for local marketing and event participation

• Bring opportunities to Marketing Director for review

• Execute needs for each opportunity as directed

• Website:

• Learn WordPress platform

• Assist with website content updates as needed

• Work with agency partner on design changes and website partner on template changes

Basic Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in marketing environment

• BA or BS degree

• Experience in WordPress, SEMrush, FB Creator Studio a plus!

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Passion for customer communications

• Must have drive, determination and the ability to excel in problem solving situations

• Self-motivated
