The FP&A Manager will be a leader within the Advisory Service Line as a part of the overall Finance Team. The FP&A Manager leads a variety of financial focus areas in support of the firm’s overall financial goals.

As a FP&A Manager you will:

• Lead monthly financial forecasting (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/knowledge/modeling/projecting-income-statement-line-items/) , reporting, and operational metrics tracking

• Develop and lead FP&A team members in support of the firm’s goals

• Report on financial performance and support preparation for regular leadership reviews

• Lead the annual budgeting process to establish financial budgets for the coming fiscal year

• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/knowledge/accounting/variance-analysis/) , identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/knowledge/modeling/projecting-income-statement-line-items/) ; proactively identifying areas for improvement

• Support effective cost management by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

• Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.

• Lead corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.

• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

What you bring to the role:

• 8+ years of business finance or other relevant experience

• BA or BS degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)

• Significant experience in financial modeling (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/knowledge/modeling/what-is-financial-modeling/) techniques and developing financial reports

• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/excel/formulas-functions/excel-formulas-cheat-sheet/) as well as Word and Powerpoint

• Knowledge of revenue recognition across different contract types

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with Leaders across the firm

• Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture

• Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization

The hiring range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. Final offers will consider experience, location, and budget.
