Chemical Mixer ($20-23/hr.+)

Job Description

We have three openings for Plant Operators on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift . This is a direct placement role with a starting pay rate of $20-23+per hour .

Responsibilities

• Meet with the foreman to review daily tasks.

• Train in different areas of the plant on various production procedures.

• Follow work instructions to mix pigments for paint.

• Wear a respirator during mixing operations.

• Lift bags weighing 50-60 lbs to load into the blender.

• Follow batch tickets with weights and procedures.

• Train to operate a paint kettle, pigment reactor, and grinding machine.

• Load bulk weigh stations.

• Utilize a computer to read SOPs and mixing procedures.

• Perform basic math calculations for batch weights.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1. Must be able to lift 60 lbs

2. Must be able to wear a respirator

3. Must have steel toe boots

4. Must have at least 2 years manufacturing experience

5. Must have experience reading standard operating procedures

• Previous chemical mixing/ compounding experience

• Tow motor

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
