R10054099 Automation Intern (Open) Location: Twinsburg, OH (AES) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Automation Service Internship is designed to help develop technical knowledge of automation welding process, implementation of cutting and welding automation including plasma cutting and welding robotics, engineering economics surrounding automation and the development of critical industry skills and experience Interaction with various functional teams across Airgas and Airgas customers Challenging projects and responsibilities that foster innovative thinking and strong problem solving abilities Opportunities to participate in leadership development activities, workshops and trainings, and networking events Interaction with various functional teams across Airgas and Airgas customers Challenging projects and responsibilities that foster innovative thinking and strong problem solving abilities Opportunities to participate in leadership development activities, workshops and trainings, and networking events __Are you a MATCH? Must be enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technologies, Material Science and Engineering or other related engineering discipline. Junior or Senior level; future graduate. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision making skills. Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization. Comfort and ability to work within ambiguity. Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Suite. Ambition to build career in Engineering, Operations, Production, Distribution, or Supply Chain leadership Onsite work environment
