Aston Carter Production Planner in Tustin, California

Job Title: Production PlannerJob Description

Take charge of fully utilizing the Oracle system to plan, implement, and maintain production schedules. Collaborate with department Supervisors, Project Managers, strategic partners, and Procurement to optimize schedules. You will release, post, and implement production schedules for the Production and Assembly Teams, monitor adherence to the plan, and coordinate resources to meet production demands. Your role involves projecting capacity and utilization to minimize downtime and bottlenecks, measuring performance to ensure compliance with production plans, and taking a leading role in resolving production issues. Additionally, you will develop contingency plans, evaluate purchase orders, monitor job progress, recommend cost-reducing production solutions, and promptly update relevant departments on schedule changes. Prepare and report on production risk analysis, and ensure that production deadlines are met by effectively managing schedule changes.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, California.

Work Environment

The corporate office is in California, with no manufacturing activities. All manufacturing operations are at locations in New Mexico, Mojave, and the soon-to-be Arizona site. The role is based in our HQ in Tustin, within the new flight building, offering a very nice office space. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 4 days a week onsite. Standard working hours are from 8-5 with some flexibility. We offer holiday pay and 2 weeks vacation while on contract. This is a 6-month contract position.
