Essential Job Duties
- Greet clients with a positive and friendly attitude and professionalism at al] times in this job capacity
- Abide by the protocols and policies as defined by the American Animal Hospital Association within its definition of a Veterinary Client Representative
- Process clients pets for admission into and discharge out of TU- VTH
- Answer telephone, relay messages relative to the clinical area.
- Duplicate, fax, xerox, and collate materials as needed.
- Maintain internal communications, work flow, and patient care
- Ensure all referral veterinary records have been added to the medical record
- Ensure all send out laboratory results have been added to the medical record o Obtain records and results by accessing external systems Type/input office related materials.
- Code and file case records for the VTH(small animal, large animal and ambulatory clinics)
- Complete assigned duties and reception check-lists during shift
- Accept payments and deposits from clients.
- Assist coworkers during busy hours.
- Attentive to clients needs to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
- High school graduate
- Experience working in a veterinary or medical practice or at least one year of experience in a customer service environment
Physical Demands
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to walk short distances
- Ability to view a computer terminal; extensive reading

- Verbal skills needed for telephone and person-to-person interactions
- Literacy skills needed for understanding of documents created and used
- Good computer skills and demonstrate experience with operating standard office equipment
