Mobile Communications America Service Manager I in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security services is seeking a Service Manager I for our Tuscaloosa, AL location to support our growing MSS division.

Two-way radios are the go-to technology for enterprises around the world; connecting people wherever they need clear, instant, and reliable communications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Scheduling multiple projects with daily business and driving WIP completion with oversight.

  • Creating high team morale.

  • Providing frequent and effective feedback.

  • Working with GM/VP, as well as direct reports professionally and efficiently.

  • Advocating for MCA safety vision/goals.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Minimum 3 years, average of 5 years

  • Manages recurring maintenance of $100 - $800K.

  • Ability to manage mid to large projects.

  • Drives all contract renewals.

  • Negotiates some renewals without assistance.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Approx 25% travel, some overnight will be expected.
