WILL WORK OUT OF THE TURLCOK LOCATION 50% OF THE TIME AND THE SALIDA LOCATION THE OTHER 50% OF THE TIME!

Description

· Actively

leads the planning and implementation of capital projects, facilitating the

definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

· Defines

project tasks and resource requirements; develops full scale project plans.

· Assembles

and coordinates project staff, manages project budget, manages project resource

allocation, and plans/schedule project timelines.

· Tracks

project deliverables using appropriate tools; provides direction and support to

project team.

· Constantly

monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders; presents

reports defining project progress. Provides Site Leadership & Sr. Project

Management with project updates.

· Identifies

project obstacles and implements solutions.

· Manages

project changes to achieve project outputs.

· Works

closely with Plant Maintenance Manager and maintenance team leaders to

integrate all new project systems.

· Assists

in the development of proposals and RFP’s.

· Meets

and develops relationships with local contractors and equipment manufactures to

ensure project design meets BDG requirements.

· Learns

technical side of equipment and process line operational requirements at the

Turlock and Salida facilities.

· This

MINIMUM

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum

level of education required.

·

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical

Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s)

of functional experience.

·

5 years of engineering experience with at least 2 years managing

projects.

Other required type(s) of functional experience (e.g.

Production/Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.)

· Ability

to present complex technical information to internal and external customers.

· Experience

working on cross functional teams (Operations, Quality, Safety, etc.).

· Demonstrated

understanding and expert proficiency of Project Management software e.g. MS

Project.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
