POSITION SUMMARY:


 

BRAND NEW EMPLOYER EXXEL OUTDOORS, owner of Kelty, Sierra Designs, Slumberjack and others moving into Tupelo! Be part of this new team!

 

This position ensures orders are picked and put aways are done accurately. The Warehouse Associate responsibilities include receiving incoming merchandise, unloading trailers, filling orders for customer shipments, loading trailers, movement of goods from the storage to loading area.

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

``` - Pick orders. - Pack orders. - Load outgoing shipments. - Unload containers. - Put away incoming product accurately using RF gun. - Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. - Replenish empty bins. - Maintain high productivity numbers. - Act professionally and remain focused while working. - Follow directions of leadership - Perform cleaning activities as required. - Maintain a safe and clean warehouse. - Maintain a positive attitude. - Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

 


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate a warehouse cart.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions/detailed oriented.
  • Ability to use electronic devices.
  • Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to Stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to read and understand pick tickets written in English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
