Job Description

We are seeking experienced welders with fitting experience to manufacture poles for street lighting and traffic control. This role requires individuals who can work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture poles for street lighting and traffic control.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Perform welding tasks using metalcore and flux core techniques.

• Fit and assemble parts according to specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and pass the required weld test.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in welding and fitting.

• Experience with metalcore and flux core welding techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to pass a weld test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment

The position requires working in a shop environment with a hardhat provided by the client. Candidates must bring their own weld hood and steel-toed boots. The weekend shift runs from 5 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday through Sunday, with training on the day shift (Monday through Thursday) for 2-3 days. This role ensures a 36-hour workweek, paid as 40 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
