The Training Programs Manager is responsible for providing senior level training/development support, strategy and advisement in an area of expertise. This role will work with employees of all levels to perform learning needs assessments, design learning strategies and deliver creative learning solutions to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Subject matter expert for technical and regulatory compliance training

Performs learning needs analyses with business partners

• Designs training plans, development programs and learning content

• Leads sophisticated projects and tasks across multiple workgroups

• Provides user support for Workday Learning and other enterprise learning/training technology

• Partners with others to support significant change initiatives and enterprise programs

• Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

• Required: Associate’s degree; a minimum of ten (10) years related experience

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of fifteen (15) years related experience

Other Requirements:

• Operations expertise

• Experience in adult learning, training delivery or instructional design

• Experience working with technical teams with the ability to understand technical content

• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

• Preferred: Advanced instructional design skills and technology (Articulate Storyline)

• Preferred: Advanced LMS administration skills and adult learning experience

• Preferred: Understanding of Workday Learning and related learning/training systems and datasets

• Preferred: Engineering experience and/or understanding of basic engineering principals, processes, procedures and systems
