Purpose of the job

The Alkylation Specialist will support the development, innovation, commercialization, and project execution of the technology in support of STRAP. This role will continue to develop and improve design practices, tools, and infrastructure for Alkylation technologies to ensure the technology is competitively positioned in the marketplace. The Specialist will serve as the SME for the SBU and for industry and customer senior management and will be expected to make a substantial contribution to new business through technology differentiation and development as well as support sales and business teams in developing new business growth opportunities. The Specialist will also play a critical role in helping to develop the technical bench strength across the technology family to ensure that there is sufficient global experience to meet the expected project load.

Responsibilities

• Senior Level Engineering position providing guidance and information to lower level engineers and have responsibility for various projects and plans.

• Play a leadership role in technology resolution.

• Drive maintenance, develop, and improvement of infrastructure and tools.

• Plan, organize, and communicate project technical needs to leadership.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant process and/or process design engineering experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or a related field

• Minimum of 10 years process simulation experience using Unisim, Aspen, or similar.

• Minimum of 10 years experience developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)

• 10+ years of experience in design of ISOALKY and/or HF Alky technologies.
