General Maintenance Technician
The General Maintenance Technician role performs general maintenance work to ensure our building is fully operational.

Job Summary & Essential Functions:
Install electrical controls, power circuits, services, light fixtures, etc.
Install water lines, air lines, drain lines, etc.
Repair any breaks and maintain all plumbing facilities and equipment
Build partitions, platforms, frames, etc., often without the aid of blueprints
Perform miscellaneous building repairs
Perform painting and plastering duties
Move materials and supplies throughout the plant
Pick up and deliver items, orders and materials to outside suppliers as indicated on trip request or by verbal directions from supervisor
Maintain company vehicle in proper operating condition. Check and maintain all proper fluid levels. Keep vehicle current with state inspection requirements.
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Perform other assignments as required

Ability to diagnose equipment problems
Ability to diagnose problems with the operation’s electrical and plumbing
Knowledge of various maintenance trades
Available for 24-hour emergency call-in
