Northwest Farm Credit Services Loan Review Specialist in Tulare, California

We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West. We are in search of a Loan Review Specialist to join our Loan Review department in Tulare, California. This full-time position reports to the VP, Loan Review and performs quality control review, document preparation, and analysis of basic new loan and loan servicing submissions. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period. Compensation Information The base salary range for this position in Tulare, California is: Level I: $46,000 - $69,000; bonus at target is 6% of salary. Level II: $51,000 - $76,000; bonus at target is 6% of salary. Level III: $56,000-$85,000, bonus at target is 8% of salary. Job Requirements Evaluate new loan and loan servicing requests and submissions, following established procedures and using acquired knowledge, to ensure the compliance and legal enforceability of loan paper and perfection of collateral on secured loans and loan servicing. Review and interpret legal and ancillary collateral documentation provided with the loan requests, including access and right-of-way related agreements, water rights documentation, easements, leases and permits pertaining to real property to identify any existing or potential issues. Review and analyze organizational documentation of business entities (such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, etc.) and trust agreements to identify any material issues that may impact loans; work with branch staff to remedy issues. identify and remedy issues reflected on title insurance. Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Demonstrated understanding of loan review requirements, including loan products and guidelines, association policies and procedures, and origination software specifications Generally requires three or more years' experience in Loan Review or related field Significant experience with real property and personal property collateral documentation and perfection Demonstrated success in improving processes to meet regulatory and organizational requirements Ability to navigate complex loan situations including but not limited to cross collateralization, complex entities, and lien position impact Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Requirements Mortgage lending, application/loan processing, title and/or law firm experience.
