Our culture is at the heart of our success, and we are looking for talented individuals for the position of Manager– T&D Metering, Line Locating and Heavy Equipment and Transportation (HEAT) to bring their skills and experience to the table while enriching our already strong culture.

What you will do

• Lead the Metering, Line Locating and HEAT teams including safety, prioritizing, workflow allocation, quality control, staff scheduling, performance reviews and employee relations.

• Metering – Installs & maintains single and three phase meters, connects/disconnects secondary cable in transformers, and power quality investigations.

• Line Locating – Locates and marks TEP facilities for Arizona 811 requests and privately owned TEP facilities and conducts damage investigations.

• HEAT (Heavy Equipment and Transportation) – Supports TEP operations with heavy hauling, digging, crane operations, right-of-way clearing, etc.

What you bring

· A bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years of leadership experience or a High School diploma or GED and a minimum 10 years of relevant technical experience, with at least 4 years of leadership experience

· Demonstrated ability to actively listen and communicate effectively with diverse groups across functional lines in all forms of communication.

· Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

· Demonstrated ability to continually use emotional intelligence, poise, tact, and diplomacy.

· Broad-based business knowledge, including financial analysis and project management including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

· Demonstrated ability to build presentations and present them to a wide range of audiences.

· Advanced knowledge of the electric utility business.

· Proficient in the use of personal computer applications and software technology
