The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

The Enterprise Services Procurement team is seeking a strong candidate for a Senior Analyst role to manage low to medium complexity external procurements in support of internal and customer requirements. The successful candidate will procure non-production goods and services in support of RTX’s business units and Corporate functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with non-product procurement, sourcing and execution. This includes terms and conditions negotiations, supplier management, price analysis, proposal support and compliance aspects of supply chain management. Additionally, the candidate will have experience influencing suppliers and their performance while servicing business customers to a high level of service excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Review of SOW’s (Statements of Work)

  • Creating PIA/NDA’s

  • Obtaining Proposal/Quotation activities

  • Negotiations

  • Documentation write-up

  • Selecting qualified suppliers and perform Due diligence

  • Seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable)

  • Supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions)

  • Best value analysis

  • Post-award management in accordance with company directives and Business Unit work instructions.   

  • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Business and Programs.

  • Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones

  • Strategic planning while supporting daily tactical and detailed activities

  • May be required to participate in supplier development activity

  • Engage with Business EXIM, Legal, & Sr. Leaders

    Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of minimum experience in the following:

  • Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and/or other Government Procurement regulations

  • Using SAP procurement software tools, such as PRISM and APEX

  • P urchase Order management, including documentation, and contract negotiation experience (internal, across the businesses; external with suppliers).

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

    Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Government contracts, processes and procedures and demonstrated knowledge of the integrated supply chain, including strategic procurement.

  • Experience developing supplier relationship management skills, proposal expertise and understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution. Experience coordinating with commodity leads/managers and external suppliers to manage requirements and bring issues to resolution.

  • Experience with automation tools with sold analysis and problem solving skills - understanding how to identify and escalate issues (how and when)

  • Ability to effectively interface with senior management on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives along with the a bility to develop peer relationships with senior executives, cross functional teams, customers, and program manager

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and e xcellent communication skills, influential speaking and leadership skills – influence, presence, ability to interface internally and with suppliers

  • Willingness and ability to travel

This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside near Richardson, TX or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
