Community Health Systems Risk Management Coordinator & Patient Liaison in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This is a full time, day shift, Risk Management Coordinator & Patient Liaison position supporting Northwest Medical Center.

Position Purpose

Coordinates quality functions and reporting within the QRM Department including physician peer review process, development and coordination of medical care evaluations, focus studies in accordance with standards, rules, other guidelines, and The Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: Associates Degree, Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.

Preferred: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree.

Experience: Required: Three (3) years clinical experience as an acute care RN with exp in a critical care setting.

Preferred: One (1) year recent (within past 5) experience in Performance Improvement.

Skills: Strong knowledge and understanding of the Joint Commission and other Regulatory agencies standards. Ability to utilize systems to gather detailed data and report relevant analyses. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current Arizona RN licensure.

Preferred: Certification/Registration - CPHQ.
