Actalent Medical Assistant in Tucson, Arizona

Medical Assistant

Description:

Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.

Obtain all necessary patient records and vitals as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures.

Perform other administrative duties, i.e. data entry, filing, faxing, chart preparation, reception, etc., as requested by supervisor or physician.

Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN’s, triage patient phone calls.

Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed; maintain all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.

Float position and Travel 90% of the time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED - candidate must supply proof.

Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.

Pay

$20 - $25 (Depending on experience)

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch

This is a fully on-site position in Tucson, AZ.
