Job Summary:

Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Ultra Program in Tucson, Arizona. Ultra is a fast paced, ever changing development program that requires both strategic and tactical material execution. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone with a university/college degree and five (5) years of relevant prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience. This role requires knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of procurement, project and material management.

In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team. You will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team engaging with the Ultra Supply Base, you will create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans as well as tactical execution through product delivery.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, manage financial budgets and engage in conflict resolution.

What You Will Do:

• Engage with PMO leadership on material strategy execution

• Coordinate Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans with Procurement

• Review and burn down SCM metrics

• Develop and drive monthly material forecasting and finance reporting as required

• Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.

• Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.

• Partner with Program and Planning on Ultra Build Plan and execution

• Support Program proposals and estimates

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and/or Power Point).

• Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active Secret Clearance

• Progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

• Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management

• Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform

• Knowledge and experience utilizing MRP system settings and planning parameters to endure material availability

• SAP/PRISM experience

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
