Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist with a strong STEM background to create and manage multi-media marketing content and physical collateral. The specialist will apply their knowledge of SEO and digital analytics to produce effective web content, digital advertising, and social media content. They will support ongoing campaigns and sales efforts through coordinating and improving trade shows and printed collateral. The role requires strong writing skills and a grasp of scientific principles, such as fluid dynamics.

Our Client manufactures mass flow and pressure instrumentation that are used in many industries. Their customers are based in aerospace, heavy industry, biological, and environmental study, so having passion in those fields is ideal. As a marketing communications specialist, your work speaks as the voice of the brand to earn the credibility of a highly technical audience and achieve company goals of increasing new customers and cultivating evangelists.

Responsibilities:

Manage physical marketing materials: Create, order, and maintain various physical materials and content (brochures, cut sheets, info sheets, posters, banners, tradeshow properties, swag, newsletters, social media blog posts, technical explainers) that will be used across multiple marketing and sales channels.

Tradeshow coordinator: Manage logistics, planning and shipping for the booth properties, plan and implement the pre-show promotions to increase traffic, and ensure the leads generated are put into the marketing automation database for nurturing or follow-up by Sales.

Manage paid distribution channels: Create and maintain various forms of paid advertisement including digital and print (Google Ads, social media, trade sites) to support ongoing marketing initiatives.

Track and optimize ad performance: Make sure ads of all types are performing well and shift gears when needed to maximize success.

Collaborate to produce mixed media content: Bring market and customer expertise to our creative team, working closely with them to make high quality, visually appealing content in written, visual and video formats.

Provide marketing materials to sales channels: Follow up with customer and sales channel requests, making sure tradeshow attendees have what they need to man booths and that sales channels have materials to distribute to customers.

Skills and Requirements
