Community Health Systems Manager of Imaging in TUCSON, Arizona
Description
This is a full time Manager of Imaging position working at Northwest Medical Center, responsible for the oversight of the radiology department.
Summary:
Plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.
Education
Required: Training in an accredited program in radiologic technology
Preferred: Specialized training in radiologic specialty (i.e. CT, MRI, US, etc); Bachelors degree
Experience
Required: One year of supervisory experience in a Radiology Technology environment.
Preferred: Five or more years lead or supervisory experience in a Radiology environment. Experience with a speciality modality (CT, MRI, US, etc).
Licenses/ Certifications
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
CRT license from State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
Preferred: Advanced Certification/Registration in CT and/or MRI.
