Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to be a part of our team located in Tucson, Arizona. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be contributing to a non-profit organization by offering comprehensive administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director. This job offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Providing wide-ranging administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director

• Engaging in various office support tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the organization

• Assisting in the organization of administrative activities and ensuring their completion in a timely manner

• Utilizing basic office skills to manage and distribute information within the office

• Managing administrative inquiries and resolving them effectively

• Taking initiative in the absence of the Director and Assistant Director to ensure administrative tasks are not halted

• Ensuring all administrative information is accurate, organized, and updated

• Assisting in the preparation of scheduled reports and documents for the Director and Assistant Director

• Participating in the improvement of administrative processes and protocols to enhance efficiency within the organization. Requirements • Must possess Basic Office Skills including filing, sorting, and managing documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience in managing calendars and scheduling appointments.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.

• Detail oriented demeanor and appearance are expected.

• Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
