About the Role:
As a Continuous Improvement Associate in our Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and process improvement. You will be responsible for analyzing and identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, and monitoring progress to ensure sustained success. Your contributions will directly impact our company's bottom line and help us maintain our position as a leader in the industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- • Bachelor's degree in a supply chain related discipline and/or 0-3 equivalent years of experience
• Retail and foodservice channel experience desired
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel; experience with ERP Systems, SAP APO DP preferred
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives
• Ability to work cross-functionally, convey complex issues, and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
Conduct data analysis and process mapping to identify root causes and develop action plans
Lead and facilitate process improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and sustainable results
Provide training and support to team members on continuous improvement methodologies
Monitor and report on progress, identifying opportunities for further improvement
Skills:
In this role, you will utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing training and support to team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with process mapping and data analysis software will be necessary to conduct data analysis and monitor progress. Preferred qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma certification and project management experience will be beneficial in leading and facilitating process improvement projects.
