Job Overview

We are an HVAC Registered Apprenticeship

Looking for D2 or S2

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment installation, repair, maintenance, HVAC systems, piping and possess strong mechanical aptitude along with great customer service.

Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair with all aspects of residential HVAC including gas, oil, heat pumps and air conditioning units.

Responsibilities

  • Serve existing and new accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
  • Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
  • Partner with dispatchers, technicians, installers to provide customers with excellent service.
  • Establish service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts.
  • Following daily travel schedule.
  • Documents all actions by completing forms and logs as outlined in department policies procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in HVAC field service

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics

  • Proficiency in using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics

  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair

  • Strong work ethic and professional standards

  • Good verbal and written communication

  • Ability to satisfy clients in a clean, efficient, and professional manner

*Candidates should possess the following:

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC Diagnostic Repair Service Technician experience
  • CT Occupational License S1, S2, D1, D2, SM1, SM2 (Preferred)
  • OSHA 10 Card (Preferred)
  • EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal Certification
  • D2 Apprentice
  • S2 Apprentice

  • Must have an insurable driving record and valid driver license
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in English
