What’s a typical day as a Procurement Specialist Coordinator? You’ll be:

• Providing daily support to the full-time Powertrain Small Core Procurement Specialist and Powertrain Supervisor.

• Updating P118 for low on-hand parts.

• Communicating with suppliers via email and phone.

• Performing data entry in CICS and Excel spreadsheets.

• Assisting suppliers with ETA requests and purchase order concerns.

• Updating purchase order information into CICS.

• Issuing purchase orders in CICS using a Macro.

• Copying and pasting special data into Excel templates.

• Following up with suppliers on New Model Parts "Are You Ready".

• Assisting with backorders by contacting suppliers for required information.

• Running scrapes from Access macros for necessary data.

• Understanding the low on-hand report and determining when to issue supplemental orders to suppliers.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and shortcut keys.

• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work with suppliers to manage purchase orders and inventory levels.

• Understand the process of identifying and setting up new model part numbers.

• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

• Take initiative to assist with tasks and provide ideas for job position efficiency gains.
