Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Manager, University Relations in Troy, New York

We are currently looking to fill a Manager, University Relations role supporting our NY Capital Region sites. This person plays a key role in positioning Regeneron as an employer of choice by leading an outstanding campus recruiting program for emerging talent. Serves as a trusted advisor and partner to leadership to understand hiring needs, identifying diverse sources of talent and is a subject matter authority on matters related to college relations.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Collaborating closely with recruiting team to understand business needs to influence leaders to adopt a strategic enterprise approach for attracting, retaining and developing early career talent and driving a full-time hiring pipeline.

  • Rolling out and drives program improvements, including change management to develop alternative recruitment strategies and technology to support efforts.

  • Providing overall management and leadership for team members. Acquires and develops and mentors high performing talent. Leads by example and builds employee morale, motivation and dedication.

  • Identifying long-term strategies to promote company brand and drive strategic hiring trends that align with company growth initiatives while partnering to give back to the campuses and students.

  • Conducting continual research, analysis and recommendations for key relationships and events that will provide targeted and measurable value for early talent program.

  • Developing and championing relationships with external campus partners such as; professors, faculty, professional associations, student interest groups and diversity organizations, alumni and career center staff.

  • Collaborating with HR team members, corporate communications and business leaders to implement employer brand awareness in target functional and geographic early talent markets.

  • Partnering with University Relations program leaders to identify and assess budget expenditures and ensure cost efficiencies in the process.

This role may be for you if you:

  • Have experience accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and resolving critical issues.

  • Are able to establish relationships and partner with global UR/TA and business teams including ability to influence without authority.

  • Act as a change agent, with shown experience as a University Relations subject matter professional, with a sound understanding of the university recruiting and event planning. process.

  • Have strong project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills including an ability to lead and complete multiple projects at any given time.

  • Are experienced with HR systems such as applicant tracking systems and CRMs.

  • Are proactive in sharing progress, risks, and recommendations and seek guidance when needed.

  • Are a flexible and adaptable teammate and problem solver; able to work in a face paced environment; adapts easily to change.

  • Have very strong communication and presentation skills, as well as strong time management, organization, prioritization, and decision making skills.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and the following amounts of experience working with HR and key partners related to early talent recruitment for each level:

Senior Manager: 10 years

Manager: 8 years

Salary Range (annually)

$89,100.00 - $199,000.00
