The School of Health Sciences seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. Both the Entry-Level Master's (MSOT) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy Programs (OTD) programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy. The OT Programs are innovative with 100% NBCOT pass rates and graduate employment over the past six years.

This position is a full-time in person appointment with options for online graduate level teaching, service and professional accomplishment responsibilities, in accord with the Boyer Model of Scholarship. This position requires a proven track record of excellence in teaching, patient care and professional development. Depending on experience and credentials, the candidate may be eligible for a tenure track position.

Responsibilities:

Teaching and advising, coordination of lecture and laboratory responsibilities, service to the department, college and profession together with professional accomplishment which consists of scholarly and applied work.

The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $55,000, commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a health science-related field with preference given to those with an academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) and to applicants with teaching experience in the areas of management, mental health, pediatrics, or research courses. OT applicants must be eligible for NYS licensure.
