Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in the public sector based in Troy, Michigan. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, auditing, and compliance, as well as managing the use of various accounting software systems. This role is particularly suited for those skilled in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Income Tax Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and use of accounting software systems

• Manage auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Oversee accounting functions and ensure they are carried out effectively

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Manage the process of entity formation

• Oversee income tax accounting processes

• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax in relevant processes

• Utilize skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to manage resources effectively

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise in the accounting process

• Communicate with team members and stakeholders about tax-related matters. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is required

• Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax is necessary

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Expertise in Accounting Functions is required

• Auditing skills are a must

• Compliance skills are necessary

• Familiarity with Entity Formation processes is essential

• Must have experience in Income Tax Accounting.
