Aerotek Preventative Maintenance Technician in Troy, Michigan

Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Tool Room Maintenance Tech (Mold Repair). Your role will involve developing and performing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of equipment, troubleshooting, fixing, and recommending all necessary repairs, upgrades, or improvements.

Additionally, you will order parts and coordinate with service technicians from outside companies as needed. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and helping prevent unscheduled downtime will be key. You will also perform building maintenance and adhere strictly to lock-out procedures and all other safety rules and regulations.

Training will occur on the 1st shift (7 am - 3 pm) before moving to the 2nd shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm), Monday through Friday, with availability required on Saturdays and Sundays. Usually, one day off is provided, but ample overtime opportunities are available. Lunch breaks are provided, and you will be compensated during these breaks once hired directly.
