Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Scrum Master to oversee a team of three Scrum Masters in a large, complex Data Center Migration project for a major commercial bank located in Troy Michigan. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive Agile best practices, remove roadblocks, and ensure successful project execution.

Rate: $80 - $100 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three Scrum Masters, ensuring Agile principles and best practices are followed.

• Oversee the execution of multiple Agile teams working on a large-scale data center migration project.

• Collaborate with the Program Lead, Program Director, and key stakeholders to align project goals, resolve impediments, and track progress.

• Drive Agile adoption, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and remove blockers to ensure smooth team operations.

• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, sprint plans, and risk mitigation strategies to support successful migration.

• Ensure cross-functional team coordination, effective stakeholder communication, and alignment with program objectives.

• Monitor KPIs, sprint velocity, and team performance metrics to enhance efficiency and delivery.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines and success.

Experience Requirements:

• Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification preferred.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or military experience required

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
