HTC Global Services, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JRD113DK).

Work Location:  Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:  Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards for cloud-based applications using AWS technologies.  Involved in requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training.  Identify client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators.  Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system.  Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users.  Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client requirements.  Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by the development team.  Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team.  Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements.  Develop AWS technical architecture based on the requirements.  Create the AWS application flow as intended in the technical architecture.  Identify key features of AWS services and use them to write applications.  Build and deploy the application to the test and production environments.  Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification.  Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness and ensure the desired quality standards and functionality are being met.  Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality.  Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues.  Document test plan and maintain a log of all change requests.  Train the users in joint application development techniques.  Use of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon S3, Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service), DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, AWS CLI, Amazon Athena, Amazon SES, Amazon SNS, Amazon CloudWatch, Terraform, Java, Python, DB2, and Windows.

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with AWS, Lambda, S3, Terraform, and Python.  40hrs/week.
