Purpose of Job

The Infrastructure Manager is a key technical member of the NSNA IT leadership team responsible for the planning, support, security, and delivery of IT services in a multi-platform hybrid cloud environment. Additionally, the Infrastructure Manager will collaborate with senior IT leadership in the development and fulfillment of a strategic plan to modernize the IT infrastructure.

Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • System Integrity and Security: Manage and ensure the integrity, availability, and security of all enterprise systems, networks, and telecommunications, including hardware, virtualization, operating systems, software, backups, firewalls, circuits, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert and technical solution architect for complex project implementations. Evaluate, analyze, and recommend improvements for IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture, aligning with organizational and IT strategic plans.

  • Certification Compliance: Drive the enhancement of infrastructure documentation, processes, and procedures to continuously improve TISAX and ISO 27001 certification requirements.

  • Disaster Recovery and Continuity Planning: Develop and review disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity plans, coordinating IT continuity efforts for disruption events.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders and business process areas to define business and system requirements for new technology implementations.

  • Team Management: Manage and evaluate the performance of IT administrators, and recommend and implement personnel actions such as hiring, promotion, and dismissals.

  • Capacity Planning: Design and implement capacity plans to ensure that current and future requirements are met.

  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to support management in making informed implementation decisions.

  • Documentation and Proposals: Assist in the development of RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and related efforts.

  • Vendor Management: Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.

  • Research and Development: Conduct research and stay current with the latest advancements in cybersecurity, network, server, and digital solutions.

Education, Experience and Knowledge

Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge and skills that are necessary.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

  • Combination of technical and compliance certifications (ISO, IATF, TISAX) preferred.

    Related Experience

  • 5+ years of management experience, including managing regional cross-functional teams, projects, and advising in infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity posture, and hybrid cloud strategies.

  • 5+ years IT operations experience, including desktop, network, server, and cloud architecture of a multi-platform hybrid cloud environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and enhancing cybersecurity tools and posture.

  • 3+ years in management roles, including managing resources, organizing priority, leading complex IT initiatives, and budgets.

  • Excellent knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Meraki solutions (ASA, SD-WAN, Meraki, AnyConnect, Umbrella, and Duo).

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, Exchange, SQL, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, Office 365, SAN/NAS storage devices, VMware vCenter/vSphere, Citrix, VMware, and Azure VDI in physical in hybrid cloud environments.

  • Excellent understanding of backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions (Rubrik, Veeam, Azure).

  • Advanced understanding of development and use of cybersecurity solutions (ZTNA, MFA, SIEM, EDR, AV/AM, IPS, etc.).

  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory, Entra AD, ADFS, Group Policies, DHCP, Radius, 802.1x and certificate management.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours

This role is categorized as a hybrid position. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Troy Michigan office two times per week, at minimum.

Hybrid Work Schedule,

Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

2 Days in the Office 3 Days remote

Off-hours as needed

Travel Requirements

10% international and/or domestic.

If domestic travel is necessary, valid drivers’ license is required.

If international travel is necessary, valid passport is required.
