Engineering Program Manager to work in Troy, Michigan: In the automotive industry, collaborate with other departments and engineers to review proposals, determine engineering feasibility, costs, and engineering hours for new and existing product changes, including project-specific D&D budget. Provide engineering direction and oversight for prototype and trial sample parts during customer build events. Develop and manage program timelines, objectives and milestones for assigned customer programs while assuring engineering compliance through open issues tracking and weekly status meetings. Provide engineering oversight and support to Quality Team in maintaining the status of assigned programs via customer database. Provide engineering management and support to North American production facilities in preparation for plant audits, open issue meetings, APQP meetings, launch readiness meetings and other customer on-site reviews. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as six (6) months in job or job related experience in the automotive industry, to include all duties listed above.
