Your Key Responsibilities
As the Troy Human Resources Co-op you will be responsible for and handle a wide variety of tasks and projects.
Recruiting:
Managing position requests
Conducting phone screens
Interview scheduling
Onboarding:
Preparing welcome boxes
Taking photographs and printing identification badges
Creating personnel files and handling necessary paperwork
Offboarding:
Initiating offboarding tickets
Scheduling exit interviews
Projects:
- Supporting departmental projects and objectives
Events:
- Assisting in the organization Company events
Communications:
Developing announcements for upcoming initiatives
Preparing presentations for various initiatives
Writing articles for Schaeffler Link
Your Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
Ability to prioritize
The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, and lift and move thirty pounds
Exhibit a willingness to learn
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills with an ability to collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed
