Job Title: Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to machine details from a plate or flat stock according to blueprints to exact dimensions and to details of various shapes and materials. Our company produces hot runners for the plastic injection industry, which consist of various materials such as steel, copper, and nickel.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Read and use measuring tools.

• Sharpen cutting tools.

• Perform own set-ups.

• Download and alter programs if necessary.

• Machine material to print specifications.

• Use an overhead crane.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience with 3-axis lathes.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Proficiency in reading digital micrometers and calipers.

• Experience in editing Haas/Fanuc controls to program.

• Familiarity with G&M code editing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Programming experience.

2nd shift available

7pm to 3:30am -48 hours/week right now 10% SHIFT PREMIUM

Working 6 hours on Saturdays when needed; 2pm-8pm for 2nd shift

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
