HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Business Systems Analyst (Ref# BSA820AM).

Work Location:   Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:  As part of a team, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and applicable business systems and industry requirements.  Responsible for end-to-end requirements from initiation, elaboration, to closure.  Provide requirements definition for Guidewire transformation projects and strategic initiatives for P&C (property & casualty) insurance clients.  Gather and identify the requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators.  Identify and translate business needs into clearly defined requirements and create documentation inclusive of business use cases, process flows, data flows, traceability matrices, and report mock-ups.  Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.  Map the requirements as per the business needs.  Participate in review sessions for completed business / functional requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval.  Build strong relationships within the business units and support functions to understand the business needs.  Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide support, ensure that Guidewire functionality is leveraged, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.  Document business and technical requirements as per templates.  Work closely with development team in providing necessary inputs and with testing team in supporting test deliverables. Work closely with onsite/onshore team in documenting and root cause analysis for the incidents and/or defects.  Participate in meetings to review incidents reported during QA (quality assurance) and UAT (user acceptance testing) and update the findings and solutions. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within the existing system.  

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with defining business requirements and Guidewire.  40hrs/week.
