About the Role:

We are looking for a driven Product Marketing Manager to join Confluent’s Solutions Marketing team to support our strategic programs. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders (including Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales and Partners) to develop content that delivers a scalable and consistent VIP in-person experience across our Tier 1 strategic events.

You will connect the dots between our value proposition and our customers’ real-world experiences using Confluent’s Data Streaming Platform. Your work will drive high-impact program content that resonates with technical executives and industry decision-makers.

With a passion for customer success, you have a proven track record of working with customers and partners alike and understand how to bring their value-driven stories to life for maximum audience impact. As a self-starter, you excel in cross-functional settings and handle multitasking with ease. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving success at Confluent by designing and refining content for Tier-1 events that generate high-value pipeline opportunities, helping us achieve our top-line goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer needs and build must-attend program content for high-impact engagement at strategic executive and industry-specific events

  • Partner with customer marketing to interview customers and storyboard impactful narratives for guest speakers

  • Craft compelling customer talk tracks that effectively showcase Confluent’s value proposition to enterprise industry stakeholders

  • Develop cohesive discussion guides/scripts for customer, partner and internal speaker preparation

  • Collaborate with the broader Product Marketing and Campaigns team to ensure alignment with messaging frameworks

  • Manage a content library for each session stream including slide decks, speaker preparation materials, and targeted assets

  • Leverage data-driven insights (eg event surveys and KPI dashboards) to measure program performance and refine future initiatives

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing within enterprise software or high-tech industries, preferably in the data infrastructure market

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and technical audiences

  • Hands-on experience of collaborating across cross-functional teams in digital and in-person event environments

  • Exceptional organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and thrive in high-pressure situations

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to pivot and adapt as the program needs to evolve

  • A curiosity for improving processes and programs to enhance the attendee experience

  • A proven track record of developing and executing programs with measurable business results and broad organizational impact.

What Gives You an Edge:

  • Experience supporting go-to-market (GTM) strategies for specific industry verticals - knowledge of Financial Services is a plus

  • Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) business models, Open Source Software (OSS)-led companies, or cloud hyperscalers.

  • Demonstrable success in creating customer advocacy content or programs for C-suite and technical audiences

  • An understanding of how to integrate event experiences into the buyer’s journey
