NJM Insurance First Notice of Loss Associate in Trenton, New Jersey

NJM Insurance Group currently has an opening in our Contact Center for a First Notice of Loss Associate where you will play an important role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with us by responding to their inbound calls. Formal in-house training is provided. This is a hybrid position which requires time in the office as well as at home.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (10:45am-7pm) and 1 Saturday a month (8:30am-4:30p)

Salary begins at $42,798 with the potential to earn more with experience (Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials).

Responsibilities

  • Will serve as first contact for our customers who are reporting claims. This includes handling incoming calls and accurately processing information into the system for assignment to an adjuster.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers who have experienced and auto or property loss

  • Determine appropriate coverage and complete necessary follow-ups in a timely manner

  • Efficiently navigate systems to access appropriate information to service callers

  • Perform additional duties within the department, as needed

Requirements

  • Contact Center experience handling inbound calls is a plus

  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate empathy to customers during what may be a stressful time

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously

  • Accurate keyboarding skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

  • High school diploma or GED
