NJM Insurance First Notice of Loss Associate in Trenton, New Jersey

NJM Insurance Group currently has an opening in our Contact Center for a First Notice of Loss Associate where you will play an important role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with us by responding to their inbound calls. Formal in-house training is provided. This is a hybrid position which requires time in the office as well as at home.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday (10:45am-7pm) and 1 Saturday a month (8:30am-4:30p)
Salary begins at $42,798 with the potential to earn more with experience (Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials).
Responsibilities
Will serve as first contact for our customers who are reporting claims. This includes handling incoming calls and accurately processing information into the system for assignment to an adjuster.
Provide exceptional customer service to customers who have experienced and auto or property loss
Determine appropriate coverage and complete necessary follow-ups in a timely manner
Efficiently navigate systems to access appropriate information to service callers
Perform additional duties within the department, as needed
Requirements
Contact Center experience handling inbound calls is a plus
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate empathy to customers during what may be a stressful time
Excellent listening skills
Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously
Accurate keyboarding skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
High school diploma or GED
