Summary & Qualifications:

Summary

Performs opening/closing duties for all foodservice locations while providing customer service as needed. This position reports to the Event Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)

• Performs food service opening and closing duties as assigned • Provides immediate attention to all customers as needed • Takes food and beverage orders and operates cashier station as assigned • Clears soiled dishes or to-go food containers as needed • Cleans and sanitizes all work, service, and dining areas as needed • Advises supervisor of any guest complaints as soon as they occur • Attends staff meetings as required • Additional related duties as assigned by supervisor

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
