Grand Traverse Machine is looking to add Hydraulic Cylinder Honing Machine Operators to our team.

Duties will include:

• Set up and operate honing machines
• Able to multitask and run more than one machine at a time
• Willing to do process improvement studies to shorten cycle times, tooling usage, etc.
• Hold tight tolerances with smooth finishes
• Some maintenance of machines

General machining experience and ability to read bore gauge. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated and ambitious individuals requiring minimal supervision once the proper training is completed. This is a fast paced and quality-oriented manufacturing environment. 

Full-time 1^st^ and 2^nd^ shifts are available.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-year minimum honing experience

Education Required:

• Blueprint reading
