A HME Intake Specialist at Munson Healthcare is responsible for receiving and processing Home Medical Equipment related requests from the medical community as well as customers. Responsibilities include: Performing insurance verification, obtaining prior authorization, processing insurance changes, and verifying insurance reimbursement requirements are met while maintaining a professional image; reflecting the values of Munson Healthcare.
What’s Required:
Experience/Education
High School Diploma or GED
3 years related office or durable medical equipment experience required, preferably in the health care field.
Valid Michigan drivers license
