The Job: The Training Coordinator will take direction from their supervisor and lead technical developer to develop and deploy Product Execution (PE) training and e-learning programs. The Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in proactively identifying the necessary trainings our team members receive to excel in their roles. This role will also work closely with other PE training content creators on the coordination and deployment of their technical upskill trainings.

As a Training Coordinator, you’ll be part of our Engineering Excellence - Strategy & Technical team working as a Hybrid employee. You’ll get to:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that align with Product Execution team’s goals and objectives. Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources. Continuously update training content to reflect the latest industry trends and best practices.

  • Organize Training Sessions: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Ensure all logistical aspects of training sessions are managed, including venue booking, equipment setup, and participant communication. Maintain a calendar of training events and ensure timely communication with participants.

  • Track Learning Paths: Develop and maintain individual learning paths for employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training for their roles. Monitor and track employee training progress, through internal systems (ie Workday and Workplace), providing regular updates that are available to management. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to track and report on training completion and effectiveness. Partner with cross functional teams to create efficient training deployment process.

  • Lead Demonstrations: Conduct training demonstrations and workshops, both in-person and virtually. Provide hands-on training and support to employees, ensuring they understand and can apply new skills and knowledge. Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through feedback and assessments.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions. Communicate training schedules, updates, and requirements to all relevant stakeholders. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages employee participation and growth.

  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, feedback, and assessment results. Prepare and distribute training reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of training programs.

The Person:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role, with a track record of organizing and leading training sessions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $69,000 - $89,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
