Job Responsibilities:
A PIC (Person in Charge) is responsible for the overall shift operations, sales performance and execution of brand excellence in a store in the absence of the Assistant Manager and/or General Manager. PIC's typically supervise a staff of 1 to 8 team members and carry out management responsibilities consistent with Jimmy John's policies, procedures and legal requirements.
Essential Responsibilities and Skills:
Lead and manage shifts while acting as manager in charge of the store. Deploy team members as required to meet business demands and make necessary staffing decisions.
Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective shift operations.
Work the line. Perform all tasks related to Jimmy John's operational standards. Be able to effectively work and act as a role model at each station in the store.
Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered on every shift.
Follow all food safety, cash handling and operations procedures and policies.
Ensure proper financial accountability during each shift.
Delegation. Clearly and comfortably delegates both routine and important tasks and decisions.
Create an environment in which Team Members are motivated to do their best.
