OandG Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking a JD Edwards/Application Business Analyst to join our team. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.

The JD Edwards/Application Business Analyst reports directly to the Special Projects Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enhance JD Edwards and other business applications
• Translate business procedures into a comprehensive JDE application flow, create configuration plans and ensure all critical steps are completed
• Ensure system configuration and modifications are documented
• Provide front line support responding to user needs in terms of applications, procedures, and reports
• Respond to incidents and service requests as escalated by the IT Help Desk or related to JD Edwards and other business applications or functions
• Act as a liaison between the business users of applications and the IT Development team
• Identify trends that would improve application functionality and user experience
• Conduct training programs designed to educate computer users about basic and specialized applications

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with JD Edwards (configuration, incident reporting, testing, etc.)
• Software design and administration knowledge
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset
• Technical skills such as SQL is a plus
